Rapid Waste Removal Inc. is committed to providing a safe environment on the job site and in the surrounding area. Our personnel maintain a safe and healthy work environment through the application of standard health and safety procedures set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). All Rapid Waste Removal Inc. field personnel train for a minimum of 40 hours as specified by the OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Standard (29 CFR 1910.120). Project Managers receive a minimum of eight additional hours of specialized training in hazardous waste site supervision. In addition, all employees participate in regularly scheduled safety meetings.

All projects follow guidelines set forth in a comprehensive site specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP) developed for that particular project. These HASPs are developed to address the hazards and work to be performed under each job at the project site. On some large field service or remediation projects, outside health and safety contractors are hired to oversee the development and implementation of the HASP. Each site has a designated Health and Safety Officer who has the responsibility of overseeing the implementation of the HASP.
